Our Journey
Squch was born from the real-life experiences of our founders. After years of global exploration, they returned to Africa and encountered unexpected hurdles in their daily lives—simple tasks like booking a ride, ordering food, or finding a place to stay became unnecessarily complex. As they journeyed through Liberia, Ghana, Cameroon, and Nigeria, they identified a common issue: fragmented services that complicated life.
Inspired by these challenges, the idea for Squch emerged—a super app designed to unify essential services into one seamless platform, starting with Africa but with a vision to serve the world.
Back in the United States, co-founder Joseph Appleton saw the immense potential of this vision. Along with passionate co-founders Richard Mbatang, Wykans Johnson, and Nyema Appleton, they worked tirelessly over the past year to bring Squch to life, aiming to revolutionize the digital experience across regions in need.

With over a decade of experience in Information Technology and Software Engineering, Joseph is known for turning ambitious concepts into practical, high-impact solutions that drive innovation and create lasting value.

With a PhD in Physics and extensive expertise in quality and reliability engineering, I aim to lead Squch in addressing everyday challenges. Our app simplifies essential services like ride-sharing, food delivery, event booking, bus ticketing, and classified ads.
